Yoga 101: Foundations for a Balanced Practice

Explore proper alignment for common yoga poses to build strength, flexibility, and confidence on your mat. Discover the power of breathwork as we practice techniques to help balance the mind and body, promoting relaxation and focus. You’ll also be introduced to two meditation styles to deepen your connection to the present moment and cultivate inner peace.
Whether you’re new to yoga or seeking to refine your practice, Yoga 101 is the perfect space to ask questions, explore foundational techniques, and grow at your own pace.

Lyme Disease and Beyond

The goal of this one hour course is to educate the public about the high prevalence of tick-borne infections in our “neck of the woods” and to urge the importance of taking a tick bite seriously. Information will include tips for prevention, common and surprising symptoms of an infection (acute and chronic), and what to do if you or a loved one has been bit.
